Between my Deadhead mom and classic-rock drummer dad, I grew up in a house of music. When I discovered electronic music in my early teens, I was hooked; I began volunteering at events in New York City at just 15 years old, and through hands-on experience built a skillset spanning most major aspects of the industry: production, talent buying, marketing, operations, ticketing, and artist development. In 2021, I shifted my focus to management while working on a graduate degree in Music Business from the University of Miami and in 2025, the FEMMYs honored me with their Manager of the Year.

I founded Doris Joyce Artists with clear intention: to create a management company rooted in transparency, care, and professionalism. I take an artist-first approach to providing the structure, strategy, and support DJs need to pursue their ambitions. Doris Joyce Artists is woman-owned and currently independently operated (by me), guided by a belief in longevity over hype.

The name Doris Joyce Artists carries deep personal meaning. Doris and Joyce were my two grandmothers - women whose lives, values, and creativity helped beyond the obvious in making my life possible. Doris, my father’s mother, was refined and worldly - a woman of rare elegance; Joyce, my mother’s mother, was an English immigrant and a gifted piano player whose presence I feel deeply connected to.

The company exists to honor these women' s legacies by uplifting artists, building careers with intention, and serving as a steady vessel to carry creative visions into the world.

dear reader

dear reader,

Surrounded by the sounds of The Grateful Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, and more, music has been a constant thread running through my life for as long as I can remember.

I began volunteering at events in New York City at just 15 years old, and over time built a foundation across nearly every corner of the industry - from production and talent buying to marketing, operations, ticketing, and artist development. I earned my Master’s degree in Music Business from the University of Miami, but more importantly, I learned by doing - by being in rooms, on the ground, and in service of the work. Management became my focus in 2021, and in 2025 I was honored with Manager of the Year by The FEMMYs, a reflection of a career built on dedication, trust, and long-term vision.

Doris Joyce Artists was founded with a clear intention: to create a management company rooted in transparency, care, and professionalism. The company represents both emerging artists and established leaders, always through an artist-first approach. The goal is not to dictate what success should look like, but to help artists define their own ambitions and build the structure, strategy, and support needed to reach them.

Doris Joyce Artists is woman-owned and currently independently operated (by me), guided by a belief in longevity over hype and legacy over momentary wins.

The name Doris Joyce Artists carries deep personal meaning. Doris and Joyce were my two grandmothers - women whose lives, values, and creativity helped laid the groundwork for what I do today. Doris, my father’s mother, was refined and worldly, drawn to beauty, language, and the finer details; Joyce, my mother’s mother, was an English immigrant and a gifted piano player whose presence I feel deeply connected to, despite her passing before I was born. Doris Joyce Artists is a culmination of their stories and the generations of work, resilience, and love that shaped my family.

In many ways, the company exists to honor that legacy by uplifting artists, building careers with intention, and serving as a steady vessel to carry creative visions into the world.

With love,

testimonials

“small but mighty”
- alex becket (agent, CAA)

“Our very first Manager of the Year FEMMY recipient won not just because of her prolific professional achievements, but because of her sense of service and impact. Taking over Ibiza with SAGA, getting a MA in Music Business, and taking clients like Bedouin to new heights has never once stopped her from helping out a community member, mentoring an up and comer, or sharing her wealth of knowledge. She is what FEMME HOUSE is all about—creating opportunities, providing positive visual representation, and cultivating community.”
